Men in Black : international 2019.

Here we are to say this movie was not well received would be an understatement. I for example watched the internet bomb this movie for its content and was pushed away from viewing this movie in the theater.

Actually not a hard thing to do because I prefer the home theater for most movies.
I think you can be swayed buy internet people, even though they are mostly just posting certain content for the views and really could care less. Most people it is just a job and they are the circus monkeys for the camera. There are countless videos on the “YouTube” of creators talking about the “job” being overwhelming and “burnout”. I would say that it is an example of reporting incorrect data for the “views” the most popular is the phrase “click-bait”. Why am I talking about this subject well I own and like this movie. Let's get to the review. Before I run out of quotation marks.

F. Gray Gray directs this throwback to the original with the 4th installment of the MIB franchise, with Chris Hems-worth and Tessa Thompson hot from Thor, Ragnarok how could you go wrong.
Well according to the internet SJW haters all wrong in so many ways. I can see both sides honestly. With the chemistry of the two leads it was a letdown for a nonexistent romantic subplot. How ever it was refreshing for a director not to grab the low lying fruit of such a thing.

Tessa is obviously taking the Will Smith part and Chris is attempting to put a spin on the Tommy Lee Jones part. Both parts are some heavy boots to fill, so the director doesn’t try he brings to life a couple of respectable charters to the forefront playing off the strengths of both actors.

The question is do we need a MIB for 2019 and watching this movie I would say yes. The tech is respectable to the franchise with a 21st century upgrade. I am a sucker for those things sorry, not sorry. The CGI is well played and the sets are respectable upgrades to the original. Watching the extras the people behind the scenes were passionate about the franchise and it shows.

As far as the movie goes there are some pacing issues that drag the movie a bit and of course the twist is perfectible as an apple off an apple tree. I don’t think that the plot of the movie was to make this mind bending thought provoking masterpiece. Instead make a popcorn action flick. Expanding the universe to move the franchise forward. Personally I think that the movie is good but I would pick the first movie in a line up, I quite enjoyed the 3rd one as well, but I am partial to Josh Brolin being pitch perfect casting to a younger Jones. Unfortunately for the MIB, international it is a sequel and has to be judged to one of the most iconic movies of all time as far as I am concerned. Let's get to, The wrap up.

The wrap up. MIB, International is a solid sequel with a British twist, never a bad thing as far as I am concerned.
